West Ham are interested, as Minay stated on Twitter, but the situation is uncertain as the Hammers aim to bolster their team this summer after losing important player Declan Rice to Arsenal.
He would be the most recent member of the Manchester City academy to depart to pursue first-team football, continuing what has recently seen transfers of Romeo Lavia, Gavin Bazunu, Shea Charles, and Samuel Edozie, all of whom went to Southampton. James Trafford is ready to join Burnley, while Darko Gyabi and Jayden Braaf signed Leeds United and Borussia Dortmund, respectively.
The other players that have graduated from City’s academy in recent years might be hit or miss. Lavia stands out as an obvious hit since Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool are already showing interest in him, whereas Bazunu and Edozie were unable to establish themselves on the South Coast. With 21 goals and 11 assists in 24 games in Premier League 2, the 19-year-old Borges has excelled at the junior level.

The 24-year-old played for France in the World Cup in Qatar and has accumulated 10 France caps.
