West Ham keen To Sign Amad Diallo From Manchester United On Loan This Summer

Amad Diallo, a winger for Manchester United, has expressed interest in a potential loan move to West Ham United this summer. Sunderland reportedly tried unsuccessfully to re-sign the 20-year-old, according to the Northern Echo. The club recognized the need for a fresh start and believed that the Championship would provide the perfect platform for him to rediscover his form and contribute to Sunderland’s promotion push.

In 2021, Manchester United made a £19 million acquisition of Diallo, who had since become one of Italy’s most promising prospects. He had scarcely played any senior football, but he created quite a stir during his time at Atalanta. After a disappointing loan spell at Rangers, the management assigned him to newly promoted Sunderland in the Championship for this season.

His time at the club was a resounding success, as he helped the Black Cats finish in the top six. Rob Edwards, the Luton coach, referred to him as a “fantastic” player during the play-offs, and Sunderland want him back. Despite high expectations, his time at Rangers did not go as planned, prompting the decision to send him to Sunderland.

On the other side, West Ham may now give Amad Diallo a chance to play in the Premier League and perhaps even Europe. He seems prepared to go up to the first team football. Even next season, Manchester United could think about keeping him on.

Diallo Is Wanted On Loan By West Ham

West Ham are reportedly negotiating a deal in which the attacker will spend next season at the London Stadium, with the Hammers administration preparing a summer makeover of a squad that struggled domestically this season and is likely to lose Declan Rice in a big-money transfer.

The attacker would spend the upcoming season at the London Stadium, according to the Northern Echo, who also reported that West Ham is reportedly finalizing a deal. Declan Rice’s sale is anticipated to bring in considerable revenue for the Hammers.

Multiple teams are interested in signing the England international, which will further increase his value even if his final destination has not been decided. There are already a ton of attacking options available to West Ham. Players like Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals, and Said Benrahma have proven their value in recent weeks after a challenging domestic campaign.

If West Ham makes an offer for Diallo, it may be contingent on whether they expect any of their current players leaving the club. Given that he mostly played as a winger for Sunderland, his 13 goals and three assists are impressive.

But he also feels at ease in crowded metropolitan areas, so his versatility might come in handy. Other Premier League clubs are interested in hiring him as well. If West Ham wants to sign Diallo, they may have to act quickly during the transfer window.
